about
Hi, I'm Yonle (呂永乐 / Lǚ Yong Le), a developer from Indonesia who enjoys building things and figuring out how systems work under the hood. Also a Chinese Indonesia who is currently majoring in computer science.
I was a staff on one of IRCNow team before, Lecturify. Also contributed a bunch to the IRCNow wiki.
I started with JavaScript, but eventually moved into Go after realizing performance matters when things actually scale. These days I prefer tools that are simple, efficient, and don't try to be overly clever.
I use Linux, host services, and occasionally modify or fork projects to suit my needs. Outside programming, I’m interested in technology, physics, and chemistry, basically anything that explains how the world works.
Personality-wise, I’m fairly quiet and tend to keep to myself. I prefer meaningful discussions over small talk and usually avoid unnecessary noise. I also value criticism and learning from mistakes.
When I'm not coding, I occasionally write fantasy stories or explore random technical ideas that catch my interest.
